Christmas gifts

Christmas maxim

“Christmas is based on an exchange of gifts, the gift of God to man – His unspeakable gift of His Son, and the gift of man to God – when we present our bodies a living sacrifice.” ~Vance Havner

What does believe mean? In dictionaries: Accept as true or as speaking or conveying truth. Have faith, trust, confidence in. Can you say you believe in somebody but do not keep his words? If you do not consider as truthful his words, if you do not keep his words, you do not believe in him. When we believe in Christ we keep His words. Christ's words are: repent. He says that time and again in the Holy Bible.
Jesus when He was born He was made man, He became like us, He resurrected showing us that one day we will resurrect, He ascended to heaven and sat on the right hand of His Father. Christ raised the believers to the right hand of God. Those who believe in Jesus Christ sit together with Him at the right hand of the Father. These are not my words but the words of Apostle Paul: Ephesians 1:19-20: "and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms." Ephesians 2:5-6: "And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus." What does sit with Christ at the right hand of the Father mean? It means we have authority and power, prayerpower, we are like gods. We become like gods if we believe in Jesus that is if we keep His words meaning we are in repentance. Repentance is keeping the law of God. A summary of the law of God is: love God with all your mind, heart and soul and love others as yourself. Repentance is love. To summarize: To have infinite authority and power, prayerpower, you have to believe in Christ which means repentance which means love.
The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.
Galatians 5:6, Apostle Paul
He who says he is a correct Christian believer but commits sins is similar to a face without eyes.
Saint John of Sinai
Whoever says, "I know him(Christ)," but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in that person.
1 John 2:4

Christmas carol

Angels From The Realm Of Glory
Angels from the realms of glory
Wing your flight over all the earth
Ye, who sang creations story
Now proclaim Messiah's birth
Come and worship, come and worship
Worship Christ the newborn King
Shepherds in the fields abiding
Watching over your flocks by night
God with man is now residing
Yonder shines the Infant light
Come and worship, come and worship
Worship Christ the newborn King
Sages leave your contemplations
Brighter visions beam afar
Seek the great Desire of nations
Ye have seen His natal star
Come and worship, come and worship
Worship Christ the newborn King
Saints before the alter bending
Watching long in hope and fear
Suddenly the Lord, descending,
In His temple shall appear
Come and worship, come and worship
Worship Christ the newborn King

Christmas hymn

"Today Christ is born in Bethlehem of the Virgin.
Today He who is without a beginning begins,
And the Word is made flesh.
The powers of Heaven rejoice,
The earth and her people are jubilant;
The Wise Men bring gifts to the Lord,
The shepherds marvel at the One who is born;
And we sing without ceasing:
"Glory to God in the Highest, And on earth peace, (God's) good will toward men".

Love

John 15:9-10: Jesus Christ: "As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love."

Hatred

John 15:18-22: Jesus Christ: "If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you. Remember what I told you: ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also. They will treat you this way because of my name, for they do not know the one who sent me. If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not be guilty of sin; but now they have no excuse for their sin."
