It was a sunny day, I stared at the sky and the deep blue sea. I felt relaxed. Then I spotted 4 beautiful women wearing tiny bikinis. They were in the sea. I was 20 years old and my blood started to boil as I was looking at them. I turned to my friend Stavros, a tall guy 1,94 meters (I am 1,68 m) and said to him. "Let's go." We started walking slowly as we entered the water. I dived in the sea although it was shallow to demonstrate my swimming skills and arrived just in front of them.
-Hello girlies.
-Hello.
-This is my lucky day I meet 4 beautiful women here in the sea. I have good news for you it is your luckiest day because I, Charis Alexandrou am talking to you. (I always start flirting women the same way. I always say beautiful even if I am talking to an ugly monster. When I was 20 years old I did not know I was unique, a Saint. I thought of myself as a loser because I never had sex (except with 2 prostitutes which lasted 20 seconds each))
I continued.
-Where do you come from?
-From Finland.
-From Finland? It is not the same as Cyprus we have sun, sand, sea. The weather is nice and Cyprus is beautiful(again?)
-We love our country. (These 4 women were gorgeous, blondes. I was attracted to the one who sat deeper in the water.)
-I hope you enjoy your stay in Cyprus meet a lot of guys, no I take this back, meet only me and I can satisfy you.
Then Stavros arrived.
-Hello.
Stavros stood up to show that I looked like an ant.
I said:
-Stavros the girls are from Finland.
-Really, I do not believe it. (I hated how Stavros was flirting even though he had 100% success and I was losing every single time.)
-Are you from Ayia Napa?
They asked.
No, we come from Nicosia. Nicosia is the capital of Cyprus it is a beautiful town.
-Is it more beautiful than Ayia Napa?
-No.
What do you do for living?
We are soldiers.
-Whoa!
They said.
Tonight you can sleep safely since we will guard you.
I turned to the one I liked.
-Are you a student?
-Yes, I am.
-What subjects do you like more?
The conversation continued. To my great surprise the rest 3 Finnish girls said goodbye and left leaving me alone with the girl. They gave her the chance to get to know each other better.
Then, after we had discussed I said to her:
-Let's leave the water.
She did not move.
-Why do you not move?
She looked sad.
-Let's leave the water. Give me your hand. She gave me her hand and I pulled her. I said angrily stand up, her legs were bent. Her legs straightened up and she stood and walked. She started laughing crying. Her friends (who must have loved her very much) started yelling and screaming.
What happened?
I made my first miracle the girl was paraplegic.
What happened next?
The girls fled.
Stavros came to me. Charis you are a Saint you are a big Saint her legs were twisted, bent from the time she was born and now she can walk. As Stavros was saying to me I am a Saint my legs started bending and after a few steps I was sitting in the water. I became paraplegic. I said to Stavros:
-Run and say to them. Charis became paraplegic. Tell them to get back the disease so I can walk.
Stavros rushed. He came back.
-The girl is like she used to be.
As he said that, I started walking, I was alright. Then I thought I will pray to God to heal her. Stavros agreed:
-You are a Saint.
-I do not want to be a Saint.
I exclaimed.
So I kneeled down and prayed:
-God I do not want to be a Saint but please heal this girl.
Stavros went to see. He came back smiling.
-You healed her.
After a few moments I thought: I healed her so I will go and sleep with her. I went there. The girls thanked me and I sat by her side on the sand. What happened next? I was too embarrassed to ask her out.
I did not want to be a Saint. I thought that a Saint suffers he pierces himself saying Lord Jesus I love you. I love women. Soon after, I totally forgot of this incident. Decades after I realize that God gave me this job. And I do the job God assigned me to do. I will do it as best a I can. This job involves judging other people. So I will judge. See Jesus words:
Matthew 23:13-36: "“Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You shut the door of the kingdom of heaven in people’s faces. You yourselves do not enter, nor will you let those enter who are trying to.
“Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You travel over land and sea to win a single convert, and when you have succeeded, you make them twice as much a child of hell as you are.
“Woe to you, blind guides! You say, ‘If anyone swears by the temple, it means nothing; but anyone who swears by the gold of the temple is bound by that oath.’ You blind fools! Which is greater: the gold, or the temple that makes the gold sacred? You also say, ‘If anyone swears by the altar, it means nothing; but anyone who swears by the gift on the altar is bound by that oath.’ You blind men! Which is greater: the gift, or the altar that makes the gift sacred? Therefore, anyone who swears by the altar swears by it and by everything on it. And anyone who swears by the temple swears by it and by the one who dwells in it. And anyone who swears by heaven swears by God’s throne and by the one who sits on it.
“Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You give a tenth of your spices—mint, dill and cumin. But you have neglected the more important matters of the law—justice, mercy and faithfulness. You should have practiced the latter, without neglecting the former. You blind guides! You strain out a gnat but swallow a camel.
“Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of greed and self-indulgence. Blind Pharisee! First clean the inside of the cup and dish, and then the outside also will be clean.
“Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of the bones of the dead and everything unclean. In the same way, on the outside you appear to people as righteous but on the inside you are full of hypocrisy and wickedness.
“Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You build tombs for the prophets and decorate the graves of the righteous. And you say, ‘If we had lived in the days of our ancestors, we would not have taken part with them in shedding the blood of the prophets.’ So you testify against yourselves that you are the descendants of those who murdered the prophets. Go ahead, then, and complete what your ancestors started!
“You snakes! You brood of vipers! How will you escape being condemned to hell? Therefore I am sending you prophets and sages and teachers. Some of them you will kill and crucify; others you will flog in your synagogues and pursue from town to town. And so upon you will come all the righteous blood that has been shed on earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah son of Berekiah, whom you murdered between the temple and the altar. Truly I tell you, all this will come on this generation."
Luke 20:45-47: "While all the people were listening, Jesus said to his disciples, “Beware of the teachers of the law. They like to walk around in flowing robes and love to be greeted with respect in the marketplaces and have the most important seats in the synagogues and the places of honor at banquets. They devour widows’ houses and for a show make lengthy prayers. These men will be punished most severely.”"
Some people practice transcendental meditation. They have a mantra(a word) and they think of it. They repeat this Indian word in their minds. Two times a day twenty minutes each time. Frankly, when I practiced transcendental meditation I felt relaxed. Sometimes, it felt like falling, like clearing my mind. Now that I think the phrase: Lord Jesus Christ bless (Jesus prayer). I do not feel the same as I felt during meditation. I do not feel that relaxed. In fact all sorts of thoughts enter my mind. I think Lord Jesus Christ bless but I have other thoughts. What happens in meditation is the mantra is a name of an Indian deity. We call his name and he comes. The mantra is the name of a demon. What I find weird is that why do you think of a word (mantra) that you do not know what it means? I call and think: Lord Jesus Christ bless. This is in English I understand what each and precise word says. Why do you think of a word that you do not know its meaning? It is better to say and think: Satan come and get me, instead of thinking of the mantra. Because you speak your language and you understand who you are calling: Satan come and get me. Plain English. Do not practice meditation you call a demon. Speak good old English and call what you understand: Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is pantocrator, all-powerful the God of gods. Call Him. Those who practice meditation I suggest you stop. Confess this serious sin to a priest and listen to his advice. Start a new mantra more powerful and you can understand every word you say: Lord Jesus Christ bless. Let this be your mantra.
A common complaint, like I said, is that when we pray we have all sorts of thoughts, sometimes they disturb us. Some people give up prayer because they think that they do not pray efficiently. Please, bear in mind that we are humans. Every person who starts praying daydreams it is human, acceptable. Nevertheless God appreciates the fact that we devote our time talking to Him regardless we are not fully concentrated. So what do we do? Fight. Meaning be persistent do not give up. Pray time and again. The primary reason for daydreamers is Satan. Satan hates prayer. Would you like to give in to Satan? Pray often and continuously. You can pray to Jesus to help you concentrate while you are praying. The remedy for thoughts in prayer is time. As years pass by you will realize that prayer is liquid joy. If you persist and persevere you pray often and regularly Satan gives up. Then prayer relaxes you and you are filled with the Holy Spirit. I was once in an exorcism and the exorcist asked the demon tell us a few things about adultery and the demon exclaimed "it is our job". The job of Satan is to make people commit sins sending their souls to hell after they die. Bear in mind that God does not allow Satan to tempt us more than we can.
Moreover, you can not meditate after you have had lunch. You have to wait for 4 hours, otherwise the food solidifies in your stomach. There is no problem with Jesus prayer you can pray the Jesus prayer just after lunch. I think the Jesus prayer is more advanced because the goal of this prayer is to insert this prayer in your heart so your heart says the Jesus prayer not you. Here is the technique: Close your eyes and breath in, feel the air how it passes through your nose, your throat, your lungs and finally your heart keep your mind on your heart and hear your heart beats. At every beat think of a word: beat-Lord, beat-Jesus, beat-Christ, beat-bless. That is at the same time as your heart beats think of a word of the Jesus prayer. Do that as often as you can. I suggest you spend first half of the time saying the Jesus prayer loudly and the rest half of the time thinking the Jesus prayer just as I have explained to you (heart's prayer). There is a brilliant book: The way of a Pilgrim, where the author acquired the heart's prayer and explains how. I have not yet acquired the heart's prayer.
There is the dispute to which Jesus prayer we will pray: Lord Jesus Christ have mercy on me or Lord Jesus Christ bless me. Firstly, if you remove the "me" you pray for all, for ourselves and for all the world. Secondly, please pray to Jesus: "Lord Jesus Christ I do not know which prayer I will pray to you: Lord Jesus Christ bless or Lord Jesus Christ have mercy. I will pray for 30 minutes the one and for 30 minutes the other and please guide me to which one is the best for me." I think if you are rich and successful -may I take the honor to ask you Lady Gaga- Lord Jesus Christ bless, suits you. If you are poor and in a bad state then perhaps pray: Lord Jesus Christ have mercy. Lord Jesus Christ bless assumes you are in partial repentance. If you are single and long for a wife/husband then pray: Lord Jesus Christ have mercy and at the same time think to Jesus that you are alone.
