Prayerpower: Making love and money
(for advanced believers)

There I was standing in front of the X-ray machine, looking miserable and frightened. Then I saw a flash and shouted: "Oh, my God"! I opened my eyes and my fear was justified. It was completely dark. I started shouting: "Why is it dark? Switch on the lights, please, switch on the lights".
"But, son, it is not dark. What's the matter with you, son. What did they do to you?" My father asked.
"Oh God..." I closed my eyes and cried to God: "Oh God help me, give me back my sight". I cried as hard as I could cry. I begged Him. I cried so hard that I knew He would listen. I believed and knew that when I opened my eyes I would see again. My sight was at stake and God had to listen and respond. When I opened my eyes I could see. Sight is just a wonderful sense. I cried again: "God thank you. Thank you God".

A similar communication can be made if someone looks at a starry sky. Away from the city lights look up into the starry sky. Ease your thoughts, just look at the sky. See the stars. Take your time. Then think who created all these. A feeling comes. It is a romantic feeling, a feeling of surge, the need to seek. That is a feeling of love to the Creator of all, God. At that moment as you feel that you can communicate with God, speak to God. Kneel, lift your hands to the sky and beg Him with all your strength. Ask Him whatever you want: money, happiness, love, true wisdom and so on. You will have it. Believe in God. Accept the fact that he is helping you to get what you have asked Him for. "I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours." (Mark 11.23-24). If you tend to doubt a lot, the following phrase might help you: "Lord Jesus Christ bless me". Repeat it until the doubts and negative thoughts are gone.

Furthermore, apart from faith to God is to forgive. "And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins." (Mark 11.25). Forgive everybody except the ones who repeatedly hurt you over a long period of time.

In addition, something which increases tremendously prayerpower is repentance. That is changing way of life and following the law and word of God, the Bible. Read the Bible and follow its instructions. From the second book of the Bible, Exodus, chapter 20 the law of God begins. By keeping the law and word of God you love God (John 15.10) and believe in Him. You are in God and God is in you. You become one with God. This is how you strengthen your faith in God. Faith and repentance interact the stronger your faith the easier it becomes to follow the law and word of God and vice versa (Galatians 5.6), (Matthew 22.37-40). You can, then, make miracles.

Years after the X-ray incident a friend asked me to be her guinea pig for an optometry exam. She looked really puzzled after the optometry tests and said: "It is a miracle how you see".
